Meet Your Trainer
Like many people, I did the traditional career thing for a few years and learned a lot about business. That’s because my job as a systems designer consisted of dissecting and re-engineering business systems to run on computers. And while I enjoyed working with technology, my real value lay in my skill to communicate.
I was so good at it, in fact, that the opportunity to consult for a Fortune 100 company was offered to me which made the decision to start my own consulting an easy choice.
In 1992 I formed A Janes & Associates, Inc and since then I’ve enjoyed teaching, training and consulting with many different companies, both in Canada and the U.S. At the same time, I continues to hone my communication skills. I became a public speaker and published author, with business and lifestyle articles in a major Toronto newspaper and area magazines. I’m also the host of the Bolder Business Women Podcast.
Today, in this noisy world of social media and content marketing, I use my knowledge of business and communication combined with my training as a coach to help companies connect successfully. I train corporate teams how to communicate effectively, both internally and externally with their customers, vendors, government agencies and strategic partners.
